WHAT IS THE EQUALIZERTM |
|
The Equalizer is a lightweight, foldable aluminum accessory that locks onto the bottom of your backpacking stove and lets you level & better support the stove on most any surface.
It works with popular stoves allowing you to place the stove on most any shape rock, on inclines, on uneven surfaces and over growth and grass. No propping up with little rocks and sticks. It can also raise your stove about 8 inches for more convenient use while also placing it over small growth to help you leave no trace. There are two models to choose from. The Bottle Model includes a platform for hose-attached fuel bottle stoves such as the MSR Whisperlites. The bottle platform supports and keeps the fuel bottle away from the burner per the stove instructions and makes the gas control and pump handy. The other model is the Lite Model which is made for stoves without hose-attached fuel bottles. (The Lite Model may also be used with the hose-attached stoves but the fuel bottle must be supported independently). See the next page for the list of stoves. |
